Co-founded early 2008 by Philippe-Emmanuel DUFOUR and two other partners, used the full range of
products: iEntrepreneur, iManage, iDesign, iProduct and iTech.
Both iProduct and iDesign, were key in the initial creation process to gather all market and product requirements, translate those into functional specifications, flow charts, mock-ups and in the end in technical specifications.
iEntrepreneur and iManage helped the founders along to build the initial team, find additional fundings from OSEO, the tax administration (Tax and charge rebates for innovation), managing the day to day activity of the company and planning its evolution according to the business plan.
In addition, thanks to iTech, Philippe-Emmanuel DUFOUR, was able to get his hands "dirty" by helping the development team and various sub-contractors to speed things up on the platform architecture, the web design or the web development.
In conclusion, products helped
to get real.

Between January and November 2007, eStara, a company now held by ATG/Oracle, used several products to promote a new solution to increase interaction between users and publishers with viral marketing videos.
eStara was mainly known on the market for its web callback solution "Click to Call". But during winter 2006, eStara and a media agency released a viral video for the launch of the Opel Astra in Benelux. The viral mechanism was working like this: A user received an email for a friend inclining him to watch a fun video. Once the link was clicked, the user accessed the video which started like a rather traditionnal commercial. But in the middle of the video, his mobile phone was ringing. If the phone was picked up, the comedian in the video was directly talking to the user delivering a specific message. The campaign was a huge success with 60,000 incoming calls to know more about the Opel Astra and to book drive tests.
Based on that success, eStara wanted to sign new deals with publishers but was unfamiliar with the process of building a media campaign. Therefore, they chose iProduct from to build a complete product offer aimed to media and digital agencies willing to offer alternative ways to advertise to their clients.
After defining a proper product package, new campaigns were signed with prestigious publishers such as Orange for Rugby Worldcup 2007, Vivendi Mobile for the launch of Zaoza portal, Barclays, Vodafone Greece and many more.
Between January 2004 and October 2006 and thanks to great experience feedback from kelkoo, Yahoo! chose to work with iProduct, iManage, iDesign and iTech.
During this period, products were used on a regular basis to manage pan-European projects especially for: market and product requirement documentation, mock-ups, roadmaps, Q&A, production team management and multiple other tasks in project management.
The main achievments back then were:
- The post merger integration of Monsieurprix.com to kelkoo technical environment (01/2004 - 06/2004),
- The launch of Shopgenie.co.uk, the English version of Monsieurprix.com (05/2004),
- The release of a brand new automotive category for both kelkoo and Yahoo! in 5 European countries (07/2004 - 02/2006),
- The release of a marketing hub and specific sports channel coverage for the FIFA World Cup 2006 in 5 European countries (02/2006 - 10/2006).
products helped Yahoo! to deliver new innovative products under tight schedules and in strong competitive environment.

Between August 2001 and December 2003, houra chose to work with iProduct, iManage, iDesign and iTech.
The deal was closed when houra was operating a complete migration from Vignette CMS to a fully open source platform. Project management was critical at that time as not only the service was to run as usual but major evolutions were planned to be released with significant impact on major modules of the service. Thanks to products the transition had been handled smoothly with no major takedown and customer satisfaction had increased significantly after these migrations.
During the collaboration with houra, the set of modules of iTech was largely improved as, in addition to the front-end platform, products were used to manage the Middle Office based on an Oracle database (client and product DB).
iManage was also widely used in order to cut down costs and reduce the burn rate of the company and to optimize work efficiency within the production team by putting new production processes. Controlling costs for sub-contractors and license fees was also a key objective.
At the end of 2003, costs were cut down by half for a more efficient team working with less people and better production processes reducing release time and risks of takedowns with an increased overall user experience.
Between March 2000 and July 2001, kelkoo chose to work with iProduct, iManage, iDesign and iTech.
Initially, products were used by kelkoo to internalize design and product management which were until then handled by a web agency. Once the migration was complete, the challenge was to release a new version of the website to attract new users and investors. It is needless to precise the schedule was tight as the burn rate of the company was high and the success of a round was partly relying on this new version and its capababilities to convince new users and investors in kelkoo's potential. In May 2000, this new version was released as planned and met its expectations: In June, kelkoo secured a 30m€ round and could start growing to the huge success story we all know about.
The second challenge of kelkoo was to deal with a fast growing expansion, consequence of several M&A deals (shopgenie.co.uk, dondecomprar.es and zoomit.no) and, also, the opening of the Italian subsidiary. This is where iManage comes into play with a strong need of coordination with local webmasters around Europe to release consistent version of the website in the different countries. Back then, a large part of the website was rather static and needed a lot of maintenance. Therefore, with 8 countries to maintain late 2000, decision was made to move to a unified website and architecture.
iProduct and iDesign were widely used then in order to complete in a semester a full product rollout in the 8 kelkoo countries. By May 2001, new version was delivered in every country with a product meeting both market and user expectations. That version of kelkoo remained online for almost 3 years and a half.

Between January 1999 and March 2000, Toshiba was the first client and put a lot of faith in our products from the very start. iProduct, iDesign and iTech were chosen to administrate on a daily basis the website of the PC division.
In addition to iProduct, iManage, in its early versions, started to be used to manage sub-contractors working on intranet and extranet projects.
Thanks to Toshiba which gave us our first opportunity to build a strong customer relationship, we were able to move forward pretty fast and gave us the will to constantly improve our products. That first experience was also key to draw the attention of a rising star like kelkoo and skyrocket products in the Internet industry.
